* We are an independent local charity, and receive no government funding. * We serve the people of Lincoln and the surrounding district, and are the only “one-stop shop” for advice in the City. *We help people who have inter-related problems with money and benefits, housing, tax, employment, family, and legal issues. *Our volunteers are trained as advisers to give information and expert advice on all these problems, and many others, to anyone regardless of age, religion, race, or sexuality. *We constantly recruit new volunteers, who must train for three days a week for over a year to become accredited advisers. *We need the resources to enable them to train effectively and efficiently. *We need to raise £15000 for training every year.
